Mild / Moderate

Alberta Education funding for children starting as early as 3 years & 8 months of age with a mild or moderate delay in development. Funding is available for a maximum of 2 years with the last year intended for Kindergarten.

• I’m for Kids Team provides screening at our partnering private preschools/daycares at the request of individual schools.
• We assist preschool/daycare teachers by providing appropriate support to children with developmental delays.
• Each child’s program is overseen by an Education Coordinator as well as a Speech Language Pathologist, and/or Occupational Therapist.
• Programming occurs within the child’s community preschool/daycare setting.
• There are three IPPs: ongoing goal reviews and revisions.
• Our M/M team offers Professional Development training to all of our Preschool/daycare Teachers; workshops are available to parents as well as ongoing support.
