We provide preschool programming to children starting as early as 2 years & 8 months of age which may include Program Unit Funding (PUF). or Mild/ Moderate Funding (M/M).

Inclusion
Together, children achieve their learning potential.
The goal of an inclusive education system is to provide all children with the most appropriate learning environments and opportunities for them to best achieve their potential. Inclusion is about ensuring that each child belongs and receives a quality educational experience. An inclusive education system is best realized when leadership is shared between school, home and family. Preschools reflect the attitudes, beliefs and health of the communities they serve and must be equipped to reflect inclusive practice.
Learning Through Play
Through play children explore their world.
Through play children explore their world, discover how to get along with others, test their skills and muscles, try out new ideas, and feel competent enough to try different activities (i.e. we utilize a multisensory teaching model to enhance learning). Curiosity, Self-esteem, Language, Problem Solving, Cooperation, Endurance are just a few of the many kinds of learning involved in play. Adults can encourage children to play in ways that are valuable by setting the stage for them and, when appropriate, extending the children’s ideas during play.

We have a set of 5 year-old twins with mild to severe hearing impairment. Since they were 3 years old to almost 6 (2014 – present), we began meeting with the I’m For Kids Team consisting of Education Coordinators, Physiotherapists, and Speech/Behavioral Pathologists composed of Karen, Sarah, Corey, Haley, Britney, and Osialine. Both of us were absolutely amazed and impressed with their devotion, knowledge, and overall professionalism in implementing best practices to ensure a positive, healthy development for our children.
It is our belief that each team member brings unique traits and gifts that make the I’m For Kids Team an invaluable resource for developmental learning. Britney has a wide array of knowledge and great judgment. Both Sarah and Corey have great personal attitudes with positivity, understanding, and compassion to help relate to any child and offer strategies and tips to parents that greatly aid almost any situation (motion developments). Osialine and Haley demonstrate practical, real-life solutions and options coupled with positive enthusiasm. And finally, Karen, our primary contact, was always available for assistance, offering her professionalism, sound judgment, and overall relaxing, personable manner.
This entire team has given us the tools and knowledge to ensure that our twins continue to grow and succeed in so many key areas, their language and fine motor skills have vastly improved, expression and communication standards have increased and they have helped our children reach the platform of expression and happiness that any parent would want for their child. We would highly recommend the I’m For Kids Team to any parent struggling with issues or challenges that need to be addressed as all of these ladies are of tremendous assistance and support in progressing a child to their full potential.
